Pret a Manger Launches Vegan Meatball Wrap in US
The vegan meatball wrap is the first meat alternative option offered by the brand in the US.
Pret a Manger, the London-based fast-casual cafe, has announced today the launch of their Meatless Meatball Wrap in the US, available immediately at their New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington DC stores.

The Meatless Meatball Wrap launches today as the newest item on Pret’s “Hot” menu. The garlic and herb-infused vegan meatballs are made exclusively for Pret a Manger by plant-based protein company Meatless Farm.
The Meatless Meatball Wrap comes with the Meatless Farm meatballs, marinara sauce, red onions, red pepper, and crispy onions wrapped in a 7-grain tortilla. Each wrap contains an impressive 24g of protein and is perfect for lunch on the go. As of today, the Meatless Meatball Wrap is available at all Pret a Manger locations in New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.
Pret a Manger’s First Meat Alternative
While the brand currently offers a few other vegan options, the Meatless Meatball Wrap is their first foray into meat alternatives. Suitable for vegans, flexitarians, and meat-eaters alike, the US launch of the Meatless Meatball Wrap comes after a record-breaking launch in the UK last year.
Pret a Manger USA President Jorrie Bruffett stated that the brand is “excited to offer [its] first meat-alternative menu item for customers who are looking to enjoy more plant-based options for health reasons, animal welfare, or helping to protect our planet.”
Vegan Options at Pret a Manger
Pret a Manger (which translates to “ready to eat”) is already a vegan-friendly spot to grab a quick bite on the go. Current vegan options include the Creamy Oatm*lk Porridge, Curried Cauliflower & Chickpea Grain Bowl, Falafel & Hummus Wrap, and Moroccan Lentil Soup. Vegan entrees are clearly marked “VG” on the menu to make ordering that much easier. And if you’re in the mood for a coffee, Pret a Manger offers vegan milk alternatives at no extra cost!
