Attention Metro Detroit Vegans! SugarBuzz, your new all-vegan dessert destination, opened today, February 1st. Owner Christopher Pelak, baker LaDawn Stuben, and crew are not letting the pandemic stop them from bringing plant-based sweets to Woodward Ave.
Christopher, longtime vegan, eludes that good vegan desserts can be hard to come by. SugarBuzz will certainly fill the dessert desert with plenty of plant-based goodies and some gluten-free options as well. You can expect to find well-tested creations ranging from Red Pop Velvet Cake and Oatmeal Cream Pies to Tiramisu, Cinnamon Rolls, and even vegan Pączkis for Mardi Gras!
Community is the essence of SugarBuzz. The bakery will be collaborating with local vegan companies and eventually offering up cooking spaces for creative comrades in the area.
