Join Brendan Brazier, co-founder of Vega and Pulp Culture, as he discusses how he built his brands and how to navigate business in the middle of a global pandemic. Brendan is recognized as one of the world’s leading experts on plant-based performance nutrition, and is the bestselling author of the Thrive book series. You may also recognize him as Executive Producer of The Game Changers film, which was released on Netflix in October 2019. During the 60-minute webinar, Brendan will answer any questions you may have, including how to create your own innovative brands and products. The Power Hour will be held at 1pm EST on April 15 via Zoom.
Sunday, April 19
Attention cruelty-free fashionistas! F.A.K.E. Movement (Fashion for Animal Kingdom & Environment) will launch its first virtual event on Sunday, April 19th. The live pop-up event was created as a way to support small ethical businesses during this trying time. F.A.K.E. will feature ten vegan and sustainable brands like Anastasia Bones, Wildfire, and Arsayo to name a few, as well as the collections of up-and-coming designers from all over the world. This event is the perfect opportunity to discuss hot topics in the fashion industry with those behind your favorite ethical brands, and to ask questions about the future of sustainable clothing. There will also be a “Chill with Activists” segment in which a panel of activists, including VegOut Magazine founder Maggie Ortlieb, will discuss steps that we as a community can take to create a positive impact on small businesses. After the Q&A panel, you’ll be able to purchase items from the brands in attendance all from the comfort of your home. The event is free and will take place from 12pm-2pm PDT. While the theme of this event will be California Vibes and will mainly host local Cali-designers, there are already plans to create a 2nd edition to the F.A.K.E. pop-up series with the theme “European Touch”, so stay tuned!

The coronavirus has forced us to change our daily routines and has greatly impacted our global economy. While events that have occurred as a result of COVID-19 may leave us feeling out of control, there is something we can take charge of—our health and wellness. It may seem like the best we can do to fight against this disease is to simply wash our hands and self-quarantine, however there is a great deal of evidence that our diet and lifestyle play a significant role in how our bodies respond to illness. That’s where the 9th annual Food Revolution Summit comes in, which was designed to be an accessible online resource for information on healthy food choices, and how we can protect ourselves from serious illness like COVID-19. The summit will be hosted by John & Ocean Robbins and will feature 25 world renowned health experts, such as Dr. Michael Greger and Dr. David Katz. Each special guest will provide up-to-date research and insights on nutrition, disease prevention, immune health, and the global impact of the food we eat. The summit runs April 25-May 3 and is completely free of charge. Visit foodrevolutionsummit.org to sign up!
The Vegan Women Summit (VWS) was designed as a way to educate rising female leaders on how they can incorporate compassion into their career and industry. If you’d like to join this amazing group of like-minded women, VWS is hosting a virtual gathering series that will feature vegan women professionals from around the world. Past events have included actress and food influencer, Tabitha Brown, as well as medical expert Dr. Gemma Newman.
