Cafe Gratitude Returns to San Francisco with Limited-Time Pop-Up
The plant-based, feel-good powerhouse comes back to where it all began.
In 2004, the very first Cafe Gratitude—now known for its raw, vegan, and organic dishes with empowering names—opened at 2400 Harrison Street in the Mission District of San Francisco. The uplifting and self-affirming menu and posivibes ambience are VERY uniquely San Francisco experiences, but Cafe Gratitude has been missing in the Bay Area since closing its Berkeley location in late 2015. Cafe Gratitude fans had to trek to the remaining locations in Southern California for their cravings, until now.
A Wholesome Homecoming
To celebrate five locations and 17 years of business next March, the Cafe Gratitude team is returning to San Francisco for a limited time pop-up! Their mission is to create a healthier, more vibrant world by inviting more people into the simple pleasures of clean, plant-based nutrition. The Bay Area can now fondly relive the taste of Cafe Gratitude through the focused menu of plant-based favorites (good vibes included).
Cafe Gratitude Limited-Time Menu
Each dish is named “I AM…” followed by a positive attribute—animated, whole, comforted, grateful, to name a few. Items range from starters (Buffalo Cauliflower and Chef’s Soup of the Day) to sandwiches (Blackened Tempeh Caesar Wrap) to bowls (Macrobiotic Bowl and Indian Curry Bowl).
The menu also features Cafe Gratitude’s famous beverages—fresh-made juices, smoothies, tonics, house-made ginger ale and lemonade, and espresso drinks.
Cafe Gratitude San Francisco Pop-Up Details
The limited-time DoorDash delivery-only pop-up (operating out of its sister restaurant Gracias Madre) runs through summer 2021. While the usual experience of your server asking a deeply spiritual question may not be included, repeating “I AM Magical” while eating the Black Bean Burger just might do the trick. Head to DoorDash.com to place your order!
