Vegan-friendly Blue Sushi Sake Grill opens a Lincoln Park, Chicago location! This popular sushi restaurant joins the growing list of tasty eateries at Lincoln Common located in the heart of Lincoln Park. Owned and operated by Omaha-based Flagship Restaurant Group, this new Chicago sushi restaurant is one of 16 locations ranging from Dallas to Denver. While Illinois locals have enjoyed the Naperville location, Chicago diners can finally enjoy this inclusive restaurant in the Windy City.
Vegan-Friendly Sushi at Blue Sushi Sake Grill
Blue Sushi Sake Grill, Flagship’s marquee restaurant concept, first came on the dining scene in Omaha in 2002. Since then, the restaurant group, owned by Nick Hogan, Anthony Hitchcock, Tom Allisma, and Tony Gentile, has upheld Flagship’s mission to provide a constantly-evolving culinary experience while keeping pace with consumer demand—read vegan-friendly sushi at Blue Sushi Sake Grill! And the newest Chicago location is no exception. Guests of the restaurant can expect a variety of creative, vegan-friendly dishes throughout the restaurant’s happy hour, lunch, and dinner menus.
Blue Sushi Sake Grill’s Vegan Maki Selection Featuring Unique Plant-Based Rolls
The menus include a multitude of plant-based items, including a full vegan maki section of unique plant-based rolls, such as the Vegan Cowgirl roll loaded with vegan tempura, sriracha-fried onion rings, BBQ paper, vegan mayo, and tonkatsu sauce. The Unami Maki is another plant-based favorite at Blue Sushi Sake Grill and is made with BBQ eggplant “eel,” vegan cream cheese, avocado, and sweet soy sauce. Diners can also find creative small plates, dinner items, cocktails, and mocktails throughout the menus.

Blue Sushi Sake Grill is located at 2351 N Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614. The sushi eatery is open daily for lunch and dinner Monday through Thursday from 11am-10pm, Friday from 11am-11pm, Saturday from 12-11pm, and Sunday from 12-9pm.
