Fifth Annual Lancaster, Pennsylvania VegFest Takes Place This Weekend
The Pennsylvania festival is back for two days of vegan fun September 18-19.
If you’re in the Pennsylvania area and are looking for something fun to do this weekend, look no further! The fifth annual Lancaster VegFest is taking place this weekend, September 18-19.
Vegan Event in Pennsylvania
Lancaster VegFest will run Saturday and Sunday, September 18-19, from noon-5pm at Buchanan Park. The event is free to attend, but organizers have asked that attendees register for a time slot in advance to keep the crowds low and to meet COVID protocols. Time slots can be reserved here.
This vegan event in Pennsylvania will host a massive food court with roughly thirty vendors, giving guests plenty of options to choose from. There will be local favorites serving up vegan fried chicken sandwiches, out of state vendors making the drive to offer vegan seafood, and countless others whipping up everything from raw food to gluten-free vegan cookie dough.
Aside from the food vendors, there will be a stacked vegan marketplace featuring vendors selling apparel, art, and small-batch skincare and wellness products. There will also be a farmers market section where guests can find fresh produce, local kombucha, and craft oil and vinegars, and several animal sanctuaries will be present to raise awareness regarding animal welfare. Dog- and Family-Friendly Vegan Event
This is a dog- and family-friendly vegan event, with a playground and dog park on site. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the festivities picnic-style. There will be community-run yoga each day from 1-2pm, and Philly-based vegan DJ shewülf will be spinning tunes both days.
VIP tickets are available for purchase for $35 and will include early access to the event from 11am-noon, a limited edition 2021 festival tote bag stuffed with vegan samples and coupons, and 10 raffle tickets.
