Nashville VegFest Returns This October
The vegan festival will be held on Saturday, October 9.
Nashville’s vegan scene is blossoming, and what better way to celebrate than with a fully vegan festival? Nashville VegFest is returning to the Nashville Fairgrounds for its seventh annual event on Saturday, October 9.
Vegan Options in Nashville
Nashville VegFest is an entirely plant-based and cruelty-free marketplace festival, highlighting some of the best vegan options in Nashville and surrounding areas. The event runs from 11am-5pm under covered Sheds 1 and 2 at the Nashville Fairgrounds. Over ninety vendors will participate in the event, and there will be live music and life-sized games for guests to enjoy.
Participating vendors will include animal sanctuaries, a variety of vegan apparel companies, and vegan brands offering everything from pre-made vegan cheeses to vegan dog treats. There will be plenty of vegan food trucks and pop-ups selling made-to-order food like loaded tacos, soul food, and veggie burgers. The full vendor list can be found here.
Zero-Waste Vegan Festival
The event is aiming to be a zero-waste vegan festival with the help of their event partner, Compost Nashville. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bags and bottles, and recycling bins will be provided for any items that cannot be composted.
Tickets are $10 if purchased ahead of time and $15 at the gate. College students and seniors can snag tickets for only $5. VIP tickets are $35 and include early access to the festival at 10:30am, a goodie bag stuffed with samples, and an event t-shirt. Raffle tickets are also available for purchase, and winners will receive prize packs from the event’s sponsors: Follow Your Heart, Orgain, Hodo Foods, Crofter’s Organic, Cinnaholic, and Shroomeats.
The Nashville Fairgrounds is located at 500 Wedgewood Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203. Give the event a follow on Instagram at @nashvillevegfest for further updates on the festival, and to check out the Virtual VegFest talks they’re holding during the lead-up to the event.
